I graduated from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary with a Masters of Arts in Christian Counseling in May 2003.  I am a Professional Counselor licensed by the Virginia and North Carolina Boards. I have over 14 years experience as an LPC. I am also a member of The American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC). I am a member of Psi Chi, theNational Honor Society in Psychology.I served as LPC at Greater Gaston Christian Counseling Center (at GGBA). I also served on staff at Crisis Pregnancy Center counseling teens, young women, men, and families. I also have worked with teens in youth organizations. My specialization includes work with women, couples and older students. Some of the issues targeted include conflict resolution, adjustment disorders, and grief. Diagnosis is based on the DSM-fifth edition (The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disordersof the American Psychiatric Association). The diagnosis becomes a part of the clients’ records. I taught as an adjunct professor for Gardner-Webb University.
